Beyond any single study, Dr. Sehulong Robert Moraba’s most significant accomplishment may be his foundational role as Clinical Trials Director and Principal Investigator at Setshaba Research Centre from 2019 to 2025. In this capacity, he was not just a contributor but the operational leader responsible for the center’s entire clinical research portfolio.
His work encompassed feasibility assessments, staff training, regulatory adherence, site activation, and overall study coordination. He also chaired the site’s Occupational Health and Safety Committee. This leadership created the robust, ethical, and efficient infrastructure that enabled all the aforementioned trials to be conducted successfully, bringing world-class research to the Soshanguve community and advancing medicine globally.
